5. The mob gets out of control and people start throwing stick, stones, and snowball at the British. There were nine British officers. Private Hugh was struck with a club and fell to the ground. 7. Captain Preston and the soldiers were arrested and scheduled for trial at Suffolk County court. Captain Preston was found not guilty.
