5. Weekend Scheduling Guidelines Safety/Security Staffing for Campus Police services would always be available when classes are scheduled. Support Custodial staff would need to be available. Limited service support would be available including Library and Computer Lab access on weekends. A technician would be on-site for the first weekend at the start of the semester and then available on call. Class Location We would avoid scheduling only one class in a building to optimize savings and safety. Class Scheduling It is the goal to consolidate classes and effectively utilize buildings on campus when possible. Class locations for weekend classes would be reviewed by Associate Deans prior to enrollment period and monitored throughout enrollment.

6. Weekend Scheduling Guidelines Communication Service hours and support on campus would be communicated at the start of each semester to faculty teaching on the weekends by email by the Dean of Student Affairs Office. Student Experience Student input on their weekend experience at GRCC would be collected as needed for planning. Operational The cost associated to offer classes on the weekend would be reviewed as needed. Decisions to move classes or services for weekend energy savings or other reasons would need Academic and Student Affairs approval.
