2 The Nature of Consumer Behavior Consumer behavior is the study of individuals, groups or organizations and the processes they use to select, secure, use and dispose of products, services, experiences, or ideas to satisfy needs and the impact that these processes have on consumer and society.

3 Consumer behavior is defined as the behavior that consumers display in searching for, purchasing, using, evaluating and disposing of products and services that expect will satisfy their needs.
