DUE DATE: FEB 20, 2016 Log on to the laptop assigned to your desk. Today we will learn…..how to effectively use the internet to research..how to build your Works Cited page..how to take note cards from the articles you find..the story behind the photo you chose.

3. Your GOALS for the today: Find 2-3 reliable sources with information regarding your topic Create a Works Cited Entry for each source found Create 5-20 paraphrased Note cards per source. For each new piece of evidence you will need a new note card Create 1-2 quote cards per source Please save any article found to your drive if the option to save is available. If you can’t save the article, the website may give you the option to email it to yourself. If neither option is available, block in the text and save the article to a word document

4. As you search today, find out everything you can about your photo. Don’t limit yourself to just the obvious topics. Next week will begin organizing your information into possible claim categories. If you work on research at home this weekend, make sure to create a Works Cited page using easybib and bring your work next week on a USB drive. Then you can combine your Works Cited pages.
