7  Focus Question: Should naturalization be based upon an understanding of the rights and responsibilities of citizenship?  Grab a computer from the cart  Type USCIS- Naturalization Self Test into Google  Answer 20 questions total and record:  How many questions you got correct & how many incorrect  What questions you got incorrect  We will chart on the board which questions as a class we got incorrect and then discuss whether this knowledge is paramount for becoming a US citizen.  Share Out ACTIVITY: WEBQUEST

8  Exit Ticket  Based upon today’s mini-lesson and activity, do you believe that America’s naturalization process is too lenient, too rigorous or appropriate in its difficulty?  Discussion  Should America have limitations and requirements for naturalization or should the country be completely open to immigration?  Parking Lot  Develop one critical thinking question from today’s mini-lesson or activity.  Write onto post-it and place onto parking lot. You will address these questions as a class during the initial-activity each following day. SUMMARY
