You do need a google account to be able to have access to it. It was built by teachers to help students practice with their writing. It is safe for students to use. The teachers have control of all the blog accounts. Students blogs are private so only fellow classmates can see their blogs. This helps them express their feelings and thoughts. Below is a video of how Kidblog is used.  Kidspiration: Develop strong thinking skills Strengthen reading and writing skills Build conceptual understanding in math  Animoto: application that teachers can use to incorporate videos into their daily instruction. It helps with creating videos to use teach a lesson. It can be used with an android tablet and is available through Google Play.

Client’s Thoughts  Client wanted something different:  1) creating an online syllabus for my EDLI 6360 students  2) creating a module w /youtube and other videos about info. students need to consider when creating online syllabi and courses  3) creating an interactive quiz for students to demonstrate their understanding of the module listed in #2 (this will test my students' knowledge)  4) creating an assignment for my students to create an online syllabus; this will be worth maybe 10% of their course grade (this will test my students' application)  Course was created on Canvas  https://canvas.instructure.com/courses/840683 https://canvas.instructure.com/courses/840683
