It’s always been in the heart of God that people will..that people will walk with Him. HIM

Leviticus 26:3-12 If you walk in my statutes and observe my commandments and do them then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit Your threshing shall last to the time of the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall last to the time for sowing. And you shall eat your bread to the full and dwell in your land securely.

Leviticus 26:3-12 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. And I will remove harmful beasts from the land, and the sword shall not go through your land. You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Leviticus 26:3-12 I will turn to you and make you fruitful and multiply you and will confirm my covenant with you. You shall eat old store long kept, and you shall clear out the old to make way for the new. I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you and will be your God, and you shall be my people.

Deuteronomy 26:17 You have declared today that the Lord is your God, and that you will walk in his ways, and keep his statutes and his commandments and his rules, and will obey his voice. And the Lord has declared today that you are a people for his treasured possession,

Deuteronomy 26:17 as he has promised you, and that you are to keep all his commandments, and that he will set you in praise and in fame and in honor high above all nations that he has made, and that you shall be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.

1 Kings 3:14 And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.

There is not in the world a kind of life more sweet and delightful than that of a continual conversation with God. Only those can comprehend it who practice and experience it. Yet I do not advise you to do it from that motive. It is not pleasure which we ought to seek in this exercise. Let us do it from a principle of love, and because it is God’s will for us. - Brother Lawrence, Practicing His Presence

To WALK WITH GOD is to have a relationship with Him, enjoying His company and following His word - A daily decision to follow Him DESPITE the challenges you are facing.

What Should I Have To Be Able To WALK WITH GOD #1 HUMILITY

Isaiah 66:1-3 Thus says the Lord: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest? All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the Lord. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.

GOD LOOKS FOR humbl e PEOPLE. HE PAYS ATTENTION TO THEM.

James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

#1 You acknowledge your NEED FOR GOD What does it mean to be HUMBLE?

#2 Count OTHERS more significant than himself What does it mean to be HUMBLE?

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves

What Should I Have To Be Able To WALK WITH GOD

The Story of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 4:28-37 28 All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30 he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?” ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves

The Story of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 4:28-37 31 Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. 32 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”

The Story of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 4:28-37 33 Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.

The Story of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 4:28-37 34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.

The Story of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 4:28-37 His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation. 35 All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?”

The Story of King Nebuchadnezzar Daniel 4:28-37 36 At the same time that my sanity was restored, my honor and splendor were returned to me for the glory of my kingdom. My advisers and nobles sought me out, and I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. God’s job is to exalt you. Your job is to humble yourself.

Psalm 25:9 He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. You cannot follow orders, commands when you are not humble.

What Should I Have To Be Able To WALK WITH GOD #2 SPIRITUALITY

We have numerous hunger. But deeply rooted is a vertical HUNGER TO KNOW GOD SPIRITUALITY is ultimately your greatest hunger - RAVI ZACHARIAS

Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”

How Do We Develop SPIRITUALITY #1 WORD OF GOD

Matthew 4:3-4 And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

The BIBLE is not just a book of messages but a book of MEETINGS.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two- edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Matthew 7:24-27 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

How Do We Develop SPIRITUALITY #2 PRAYER

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

PRAYER is talking to God SINCERELY

How Do We Develop SPIRITUALITY #3 FAITH

FAITH: An unyielding commitment to the character of God. He will deliver what He has promised.

Matthew 5:18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
