1 Reservations for the above trip are now being accepted on payment of a £50 deposit. Please refer to the letter on the school website.

2  Morning: In school doing preparatory activities.  12 noon – Depart Kinross, travelling by coach.  7pm approximately – Arrive Milton Keynes. Check into the Travelodge.  7.30pm approximately – Evening meal at a local restaurant.

3  Breakfast at the Travelodge. Choose between the “Rise & Shine breakfast box” containing juice, yoghurt, cereal bar and muffin or the “Good Morning breakfast box” containing juice, cereal and milk, cereal bar and muffin.  After breakfast, purchase a packed lunch locally.  Full day visit to the National Museum of Computing.

4  A presentation by TNMOC staff.  A visit to the Tunny and Colossus gallery.  A visit to the First Generation gallery and the WITCH computer.  Tour of the Museum exhibits.  An activity in the Acorn BBC computer room.

17  Evening meal at a local restaurant.  Followed by a social activity, e.g. ten pin bowling.

18  Breakfast at the Travelodge.  After breakfast, purchase a packed lunch locally.  Full day visit to Bletchley Park.  The programme for the day will include a tour of the facility, a Codes and Ciphers workshop and time to explore the Mansion House, the code breakers’ huts and the museum.

27  Visit to Bletchley Park will conclude at approximately 3pm.  Return to Kinross by coach.  Arrive in Kinross at approximately 11pm.

Pupils will also need money to purchase food on the journeys and any souvenirs or snacks at the venues.  If your son/daughter is interested then you should download the information letter from the school website and return it to Mrs McKay in Maths along with the required deposit of £50.
