7. Acid Rain Pollutants join in the water cycle to create acid rain. Rain is normally quite acidic (pH= 5.6) Water reacting with sulfur oxides or nitrogen oxides creates Acid Rain (pH= 4.6)

9. Smog is a type of air pollution caused by the burning of fossil fuels Smog is made of particulates which are bits of dust, metal, and unburned fuel. Smog is also made of ground level ozone.
