8 5 Principles The UCSF Inquiry Curriculum: Is a primary component of the entire medical school curriculum. Applies to all domains of science and the practice of medicine. Requires formal training in the methods of discovery. Unites students and faculty in the discovery process. Benefits from the integration of diverse perspectives and expertise.

9 2 Components Primary Components: 1.Core Inquiry Curriculum: Integrates inquiry activities into the core teaching across the medical school curriculum. 2.Deep Explore: Offers students the ability to pursue an individualized program of intensive learning and scholarship related to a topic in biomedical sciences or healthcare of particular interest to the them.
