C ome into the lab quietly and go to your assigned computer. Do not touch other keyboards or mice on the way to your computer. Read board & begin assignment if one exists or wait for instructions before you do anything.

O nly visit approved Internet sites and only with permission. Do not share your passwords with anyone. If you see anything that makes you uncomfortable, turn off your monitor and let me know.

M ake sure you leave your workspace as you found it! End all programs. Hang up headphones. Straighten keyboard & mouse. Push in chair. Take your belongings and anything you have printed with you when you leave.

P rint only with permission and only push “Print” once!

U se only your assigned computer. Do not move the icons on the desktop. Do not edit files that do not belong to you.

T reat your classmates, teacher & equipment with respect. Help your neighbors if they need help. Do not make fun of your classmates or their work. Do not talk when your teacher is talking. Come to the computer lab with clean hands.

E at and drink OUTSIDE of the lab only.

R ead the screen BEFORE asking questions.

L eave attitudes at the door.

A sk immediate neighbors for help before asking teacher. Do not get out of your seat to ask for help. Do not get out of your seat to help someone else. If you help someone else, do it with your mouth and not their mouse.

B e prepared to learn something new every day in lab.

Rewards “Student of the Week” in computer lab Good report to regular classroom teacher “Buzz” Ticket Praise note sent home to parents

Consequences Verbal Warning #1 and losing computer time #1,#2 and note to teacher and parents #1,#2,#3 and sent to Mrs. Welch’s office immediately.
