 Researchers worked to determine how recess and exercise affected performance in school.  Their studies revealed that one in three students receive fewer than 15 minutes of daily recess or none at all.  The students receiving at least 15 minutes scored better on teacher behavioral ratings.

 Research has proven over and over that children need regularly scheduled recess breaks.  Recess keeps kids healthy and ready to learn.  Kids can concentrate for 45 minutes or less at a time, and they need regular breaks to perform well.
