Wachtel Cancer Center Heart and Lung The Kennedy Center for the Hip & Knee Women & Families *Phyllis Leach Breast Center Lynn Delivered 6862 mammograms during 2014 Treated 1991 patients in our cancer program last year, provide both medical oncology (chemo) and radiation therapy 8150 patient sessions/visits in the cardiac & pulmonary rehab department; Inpatient – 1886; Outpatient 3708 and Health & Fitness Visits -2556 The truly unique and special part of cardiac & pulmary rehab is that cardiac patients come to our outpatient program 2-3 days/wk and pulmonary patients come 1-2 days/wk, each for 4-8 weeks. Some of the health and fitness program participants, which is an additional program provided, have been with us for over 10 years. We truly touch their lives and more importantly, they touch ours. Dr. McGlaughlin keeps things going in the Kennedy center, providing life changing surgery in our own community.
