Presentation transcript:

 A leader in the field of international relations, Dr. John Lenczowski has worked with government organizations, leading academic institutions, and various research groups. Dr. John Lenczowski currently leverages more than four decades of experience in international relations to serve as the president of The Institute of World Politics (IWP), an independent graduate school he founded in Washington, DC, that focuses on international affairs and national security.

 To develop leaders who understand international realities and ethics, IWP focuses on six curriculum components, including the study of the comprehensive elements of statecraft and the study of international affairs in relation to national security. IWP’s curriculum on statecraft explores a wide range of related concepts in international relations, such as public and cultural diplomacy, intelligence and counterintelligence, and the practice of war and peacemaking. In the context of political action, the curriculum also considers how intangible facets of power, such as rhetoric and morality, impact national strategy.

 The school’s curriculum on international affairs and national security focuses on the adverse consequences of politics and ideology in the world. By studying diplomatic history and current political climates, students are exposed to unpleasant truths about human rights violations, terrorism, and strategic deception.
