Share everything.

Play fair.

Don’t hit people.

“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39

Put things back where you found them.

Clean up your own mess.

Don’t take things that aren’t yours.

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Galatians 5:22, 23

Say you’re sorry when you hurt someone.

Wash your hands before you eat.

Flush.

Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.

“and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor — it is the gift of God.” Ecclesiastes 3:13

“Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.” 1 Timothy 6:17

…learn some... Live a balanced life... …and think some...

“ Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’” Matthew 22:37

…and draw...…and paint...

…and sing...…and dance...

“speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” Ephesians 5:19

…and play... …and work every day some.

Take a nap every afternoon.

“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures.” Psalm 23: 1-2

When you go out into the world, Watch out for traffic…

…hold hands…

…and stick together.

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.’” Mark 16:15

“After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.” Luke 10:1

Be aware of wonder.

“Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11

“ Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,” 1 Chronicles 16:12

Remember the little seed in the cup:

The roots go down and the plant goes up…

“ ‘for I will set My eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; I will build them and not pull them down, and I will plant them and not pluck them up. Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.’” Jeremiah 24:6-7

…and nobody really knows how or why,

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and might things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3

But we are all like that.

“ The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.” 1 Corinthians 15:47-49

and even the little seed in the cup… …they all die... Goldfish and hamsters and white mice

…so do we.

“We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:8

“Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain— perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.” 1 Corinthians 15:36-38

And then remember the Dick-and Jane children’s books and the first word you learned… The biggest word of all…

Look.

“looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’.” John 14:6 “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.” Psalm 100:4
