Colton Osborne 4 th Period Ecology Endangered Animals

 Found in true desert of the Sahara and the sub- Saharan savannas  semi-arid Sahel of Africa, bordering the Sahara to the north.  The southern limit of its geographical range extends into northern Guinean savanna zones.  It ranges from Mauritania, Senegal and Gambia through Nigeria, Cameroon and Chad to the Red Sea.

 Feeds on small rodents  Length cm.  Weight kg  Is a predator

 Can have up to as many as 6 babies or kits  Usually stays with female and two males  The weaning period takes six to eight weeks.  each pup weighs ounces, or grams  Live no longer than 10 years
