Physician Office System Program …moving forward A Joint Initiative Alberta Health & Wellness – Alberta Medical Association POSP/CHITTA VENDOR SESSION May 8, 2003

POSP and vendors  significant progress made over the past several months in forging better communication links between POSP and vendors  Alberta Wellnet moving forward with EHR roll- out and planning for “EHR Release 2”  some areas of overlap but separate interests  Need to be sensitive to vendors’ capacity for “consultation”

Moving forward…  Is POSP governance structure clear?  Do you know who to speak to on POSP issues?  On EHR/EMR issues?  How would you like POSP/Alberta Wellnet to structure consultations in the future?  Jointly?  Separately?
