1:15why does Paul pray for them? faith... they were trusting the Saviour love... they were treating the saints 1:16how does Paul pray for them? thankfulness... gratitude in his heart Amazing Grace... That I may know Him!

1:17-18awhat does Paul pray for them? to know more of the person of Christ: ‘... that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened...’ Amazing Grace... That I may know Him!
