College and Career Readiness Standards

Operational HB 5 Key Questions  Which IHE will your LEA partner with?  Who is eligible for College Preparatory class?  EOC Assessments  College Entrance Examination  Assessment Instrument Designated SubjectEOCPLANPSATACTSATCoursework ELAR?????? Math??????

Operational HB 5 Key Questions How will the course be offered? How will appropriate faculty of each institution meet regularly to ensure that the course is aligned with college readiness expectations? How will school districts provide notice of the benefits of enrolling in a College Preparatory course? One uniformed letter? Websites? Electronic? Successful completion of this course can satisfy an advanced ELAR or Mathematics curriculum requirement (Operations – notification)

Operational HB 5 Key Questions Course may be offered for dual credit at the discretion of the IHE with which a school district partners ISD and IHE develop or purchase instructional materials for the course, must include technology resources that enhance the effectiveness of the course and draw on established best practices implementation
