Mansa Musa The most famous ruler of Mali brought Mali to its height in wealth and fame he ruled for 25 years captured major trade cities

Learning in Mali Supported education as much as religion sent scholars to study in Morocco he built many schools Timbuktu became famous for its schools

Religion in Mali Helped spread Islam wanted people to read Qur’an encouraged Islam but it was an option built many mosques

World learns about Mali Traveled to Mecca brought Mali into contact with the world made good impressions by donating gold increased trade
