Our topic How could we reduce our energy consumption?  No mobile phone  No plastic bottles  No TV

No mobile phone  2 days without our mobile phone  Conclusion: + Didn’t miss it very much + Not as hard as expected  No short-term arrangements  Resort to old-fashioned devices  Other people thought something bad had happened to us

No new plastic bottles & cans  One week no water/softdrinks out of plastic bottles  Just tap water  Conclusion: + Not a big problem because our tap water has also very good quality + Tap water is healthy because it contains al lot of minerals  No milk / softdrinks / juice

No TV  No TV for a week  Conclusion: + No problem because we needed to do other stuff (studying) + Anyway we all don’t watch TV very often  No news about a daily series  No information about what happens in the world

How could we reduce our energy consumption? - Our ideas:  Unplug the powerplug  No standby devices  Use public transport  Drink tap water or buy a soda stream  Eat less meat  Buy local, seasonal food  Less air conditioning  Use less electronical devices  Collect rainwater e.g. for gardening instead of drinking water  Solar cells on the roof  Use your stuff longer and if broken repair it  Stop wasting paper, use recycling paper
