3. Use LESS –Reduce the amount you buy! Then you’ll have less to throw out. –Reduce the amount of packing you use. Buy in bulk, and use containers at home!

4. Can you think of examples of REDUCING? –Buy in bulk: reduce packaging –Bring your own shopping bags to reduce plastic –Re-fill containers to reduce your waste

5. Use something over again Find another use for your containers and boxes, old clothes or toys. Give them to a friend, or donate them.

6. Can you think of examples of REUSING? Make furniture out of old skis or hockey sticks Turn old pants into shorts Make an organizer out of tin cans

7. Allow products to be made into something new! Collect your recyclables (paper, cans, bottles, etc.) and have them recycled Avoid having products be made brand new - save forests, water and our air.
