Coordinating Adjectives? Coordinating adjectives work together to describe a noun. ****USE A COMMA WITH THEM*** Example: The happy, fluffy dog wagged his tail. Hint: A comma is needed if replacing it with “AND” makes sense.

Identify the Adjectives The tall, distinguished, good-looking man walked into the room. He was a difficult, stubborn child. In order to get home, we must travel over several narrow, winding, treacherous roads.

Fix the sentences! In the attic, we found old thin paper cutouts we used to play with when we were children. The poster depicted a brown-haired blue-eyed child wearing a red oversized shirt. We bought two dozen boxes of delicious tempting cookies. Did you read the story about the young hardworking man who becomes a large grotesque bug?
