 There are many artificial parts that can be implanted/attached to the body such as:  Pacemakers  Hip/Knee joints  Insulin pumps  There are also devices which allow users to regain lost movement such as:  Bionic Leg  Bionic Arm  Braingate

 Power Knee Developed by Ossur  Artificial Intelligence allows the leg to “learn”  Provides natural movement  Provides extra strength to the user  Allows user to walk up and down stairs

 Prosthetic Smart Hand developed by EU researches  Allows user to “feel” what they touch  Allows a wide range of movement

 Developed by Cyberkinetics’  Neural Interface Device  Allows the brain to connect to a computer device  Translates signals from the brain allowing users to control computers and wheelchairs
