Time for Triangles

What is a triangle? A triangle is a polygon. It has 3 sides and 3 angles. It can also be called a trigon.

Did you know that there are six different types of triangles??? Let’s find out more about them!

Equilateral Triangles All sides are equal or the same size. I’m an equilateral triangle!

Isosceles Triangles Two sides are equal or the same size. I’m an isosceles triangle!

Scalene Triangles No sides are equal or the same size. I’m a scalene triangle!

Right Triangles A triangle with one right angle. I have one right angle!

Obtuse Triangles A triangle with one obtuse angle. I have one obtuse angle!

Acute Triangles A triangle with three acute angles. I have three acute angles!
