Typical Development: 1)We know the truth which leads to 2) We gain more content about the truth which leads to 3) An academic defense of the truth

Thomas says we have no idea where you are going so how can we know the way? John 14:5

I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6

Jesus says that you know the Father and have seen the Father because you have known and seen Jesus John 14:7

Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father John 14:9

I am in the Father and the Father is in me John 14:11

just believe that I am in the father and the father is in me. Or at least believe because of what you have seen me do John 14:11

the truth is, that anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with my Father John 14:12

Truth is Active

John 3:21 But he who practices the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God

John 8:32 and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth

1 John 2:4 The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him

John 3:18 Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth

Those who follow Jesus’ truth must practice truth

Those who live out their truth the best win

When I look at my life, is truth something that I tend to approach as a subject that I need to more about (content), or something that I need to practice in my day to day life?

Where in the course of my day to day, week to week life do I practice the truth?

Do I agree with the statement that “those who live out their truth the best win”? Why or why not? Am I living Jesus as truth the best way that I can?
