Your Relationship with God 1 John 2:1-5

My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

Love & Friendship with God Your love for God Jesus said to him, " 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Matthew 22:37

Love & Friendship with God Your love for God If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15

Love & Friendship with God Your friendship with God You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. John 15:14-15

Family Relationship & Fellowship with God Being a part of God’s family For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, Ephesians 3:14-15

Family Relationship & Fellowship with God Being a part of God’s family 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: John 1:12

Family Relationship & Fellowship with God Being a part of God’s family "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people."17 Therefore" Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you."18 "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.“ 2 Corinthians 6:17-18

Family Relationship & Fellowship with God Fellowship with God that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:3

Other types of relationships with God. The Relationship with the Bondservant But you, do not be called " Rabbi '; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. 9 Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. Matthew 23:8-10

Other types of relationships with God. The Relationship with the Bondservant For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men — 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. 1 Peter 2:15-16

Other types of relationships with God. Those in a relationship know one another. 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.“ 2 Timothy 2:19

Other types of relationships with God. Those in a relationship know one another. Not everyone who says to Me, ' Lord, Lord, ' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ' Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? ' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! ‘ Matthew 7:21-23

Conclusion How is your relationship with God? Are you in a right relationship with Him?
