To The TOP Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world. It’s 8,850 meters high and it grows 2.4 inches each year. The first attempt to climb it was made in 1921 the climbers never returned. In 1953 the first climbers made it to the top.

After the Summit After Hillary and Tenzing made it up and down no one thought anyone would do it ever again. But they were wrong.

Danger, Danger These are some reasons why Mount Everest is feared. Very steep cliffs of rock and ice, deep crevasses, terrible frost bite, bad weather, slabs of ice, and Avalanches.
