The Male Reproductive System

Learning Goals Outline the male reproductive system and explain each part and its’ function. Explain the fertilization process and the role of the male and female reproductive systems in fertilization. What do you know? What would you like to know?

Activity: Get into groups of 4 and list all parts of the male reproductive system that you can… (Hint) there are 10 we will be learning about…

Activity: Take a card with a part or function of the male reproductive system and find your match! When you think you have found your partner, tape them to the board!

Let’s start with the basics… What is the function of the male reproductive system? 1.To produce Sperm 2. To transport sperm into the female body

So it takes all these parts you just matched in order to do that…

When we get to your part, explain what part you had and it’s function…

Scrotum

Testicles

Epididymis

Vas Deferens

Seminal Vesicle and Cowpers Gland

Prostate Gland

Urethra

Penis

Foreskin
