Extension Activity: Creating My President Lincoln Slideshow

Step 1 Visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Lincoln exhibition.

Step 2: Choose your favorite artifact, photograph, picture or document on display.

Step 3: Take a NON-FLASH picture of your favorite artifact, photograph, picture or document on display at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

Step 4: Read the Label Copy describing the artifact, photograph, picture or document.

Step 5: Examine the piece carefully. Look at the topic, colors, symbols, topic, and the placement of the piece in the gallery or space. Be ready to explain why you chose this piece.

Step 6: Create a slideshow using your picture of your favorite piece. Create four consecutive slides with the following elements and/or labels: – Title – Your photograph – Take a Look – About the Piece

Step 7: Present your slideshow to your class.
