DDU Pages Under Construction SOURCES: This information is derived from multiple sources, including initial incident reports (IIRs), National Shelter System (NSS), Client Assistance System (CAS), Volunteer Connection (VC), Disaster Services Automated Reporting System (DSARS, FEMA, and NOAA. New Weekly Product  Weekly Disaster Stats – This product will be the new product to present major, high level DCS stats every Monday. The New DDU will be the slides in this PDF. PAGES  National Assessment Summary – The BLUF narrative page that provides analysis on where to pay attention for the day.  Division Stat Summaries – Similar to the first slide showing today and past 24 hours.  State Activity Summary – What states are having significant activity today, past 24 hours, and past week. How does this compare to historical stats.  Significant DR Standard Stats – Similar to the old DDU 5266 DR stats pages, but more focused on DRs at a certain level or meet certain thresholds that specific stats go beyond 4 year averages. Also include DR staff pending and assigned stats. FEATURES  Add thresholds and baseline colors to indicate areas to pay attention. (i.e. shelter pop goes over 250 turns yellow or 500+ pop turns red)  Seasonal and Monthly threshold comparisons based on 4 year average.  # of cases issued added to BLUF stats slide(s).

Daily Disaster Update SOURCES: National Shelter System (NSS); Initial Incident Reports (IIRs) submitted by the field for responses of significance; Client Assistance System (CAS) reported responses—includes DR and IIRs with cases, but doesn’t include responses without cases (i.e. canteen responses); Disaster Services Automated Reporting System (DSARS) responses escalated to a DR (over $10,000); Volunteer Connection (VC) daily reports. Information distributed to Disaster – Notifications should be shared outside of the American Red Cross for business and mission critical purposes only—please be wise when sharing information with external parties by providing appropriate context and referral on internal Red Cross information. The Daily Disaster Update is distributed to Disaster – Notifications every weekday to all volunteers and staff with a redcross.org address. Instructions for opting-in/out of Disaster – Notifications are at the bottom of the original .
