4 What is a Smart Meter? Meter that adds timing to usage information –Interval or Time-of-Use Communication network for data –Automatic Meter Reading Feedback to consumer and delivery system –Settlement, Daily, Real-Time, Display Control –Set-back, cycling, limiting, curtailment
