This flag is a symbol of our country.

How many stripes are on the flag? There are 13 stripes on the Flag. What do the stripes represent? The Stripes represent THE 13 ORIGINAL COLONIES.

How many stars are on the flag? There are 50 stars on the Flag. What do the stars represent? The stars represent THE 50 states that make up the United States of America.

We say, “The Pledge of Allegiance” every morning. What is a “pledge” A pledge is a Promise.

Can you name some things that would be considered “needs”? shelter water food clothing
