Making your Vitamin/Mineral Foldout

Write your name and period. Fold “hamburger” with lines on outside. Be exact!

Make two separate “hot dog” folds Keep the center folded.

Cut on each line through two layers of paper. Stop at the folds. Set it aside.

Cut insert down center line. Fold both inserts in half “hot dog” on the lines. Cut the extra ¼ inch off of the “Vitamin K” insert.

Add the “Vitamin K” insert. Start “over” then “under” and weave it through.

Add “Vitamin A” insert. Start “under” then “over” and weave it through.

First you see the Vitamin and its food source. Then, slightly fold it together and pull apart the center. Now you see the function and deficiency.

If you turn it over, you can do the same to the mineral side. But wait until it is time.

Don’t forget to fill in the types of vitamins and minerals as you go. Now to complete the information!!!
