What is a line?

What are parallel lines?

What is a right angle? 90 o

What is a ray? It has a beginning point, but no end point.

These lines intersect and form four right angles. What are perpendicular lines?

What are congruent Triangles? Hint: Congruent or Similar?

What are similar trapezoids? Hint: Congruent or Similar?

What are congruent arrows?

What are congruent figures? Figures that have the same size and shape.

What are similar figures? Figures that have the same shape, but not the same size.

What is a pentagon?

What is a quadrilateral? A polygon with four sides. (Examples: Square, Rhombus, Parallelogram, Trapezoid)

What is a hexagon?

What is a heptagon? A polygon that has 7 sides and 7 angles. DAILY DOUBLE!!!

What is a square? A quadrilateral that has all sides of equal length that form right angles.

What is perimeter? The distance around an object.

What is a perimeter of 8 inches? 2 inches (Hint: Perimeter of square?)

What is area? The amount of surface a shape covers. It can be found be multiplying the length times the width of the shape.

What is an area of 12 inches? (Hint: Area of Rectangle?)

What is a perimeter of 18 inches? 6 inches This is an Equilateral Triangle. (Hint: Perimeter of the triangle?)

What is a trapezoid?

What is a rectangular prism? DAILY DOUBLE!!!

What is a vertex? (Hint: Arrow is pointing to the CORNER.)

What is a cylinder? A 3-dimensional shape that has 2 flat faces and can roll.

What is a cube? A 3-dimensional shape that has 6 faces, 12 edges, and 8 vertices. All of the faces are the same shape.

What is an equilateral triangle? A triangle in which ALL of the sides are equal.

What is an equilateral triangle? 3 in.

What is an isosceles triangle? A triangle in which TWO of the sides are equal.

What is a scalene triangle? 2 in. 3 in. 4 in.

What is an isosceles triangle? 4 in. 2 in.

What is 49? 7 x 7 =

What is 48? 8 x 6 =

What is 5 ? DAILY DOUBLE!!! 35 divided by 7

What is 64? 8 x 8 =

What is the commutative property? A property that says that changing the order does not change the result. Example: 4 x 3 = 3 x 4
