Presentation transcript:

 Economic competitiveness and fairness  Social justice and tackling inequality  Democratic renewal  Community empowerment and engagement Key transformational role for the third sector and communities

 Demonstrating your contribution to helping tackle inequalities, and co-producing solutions and approaches, which support improved wellbeing and resilience of communities and families, and build social capital.  A strategic role in supporting communities to provide a positive environment for all of Scotland’s children.

 You should take into account diverse needs and experiences when shaping your services, in order to ensure that all children, young people and their families are able to access and benefit from your services (for example, disabled children, minority ethnic children). Continuous engagement with a diverse group of service users will help you to ensure that you are aware of the diversity of needs.  You should be monitoring which groups of children and young people are benefiting from your services, and making adjustments to your practices to ensure increased participation from the underrepresented groups.
