Genres in Non-Fiction: Informational Deeper understanding of text themes CROP-QVS Main idea and details Making Inferences Character perspective and motivations Research projects

Writing Workshop We will have 2 state wide writing assessments. The Writing Process Prewriting Writing the First Draft Revising Editing and Proofreading Publishing Papers: opinion, short research, informative, narratives real or imagined All writing focuses on: Organization Support Style Conventions Writers will discuss, and share their writing.
