Scientists observe how animals are the same and different. They put animals that are the same into groups. These groups of animals are: ◦ Mammals ◦ Reptiles.
Characteristics of Mammals Mammals are endothermic vertebrates that have hair and produce milk to feed their young. Mammals can be found almost everywhere.

What Mammals Eat Some mammals are herbivores. Herbivores are animals that only eat fruit & vegetables.

What Mammals Eat Some mammals are omnivores. Omnivores are animals that eat fruit, vegetables and meat.

Did you know…? Humans are mammals too! Humans have hair. Humans breathe air. Humans are warm blooded. Humans feed their babies with milk.
