What is the meaningful message in this song? This song is saying that one day, this kid is going to take a stand and nobody will have to go through what he had to.

What is the most important line in the song? Why? ‘but it’s my home, all I have known’ is what I think is the most important line in this song because this kid grew up in very insecure surroundings and that is all he knows.

Why do I like this song? I like this song because it is about hope and not giving up.

When I get older, I will be stronger, they’ll call me freedom just like a waving flag, then it goes back, and then it goes back, then it goes back. This is saying that when he gets older, he is going to help all the people he grew up with and the ones who went through the same stuff.

Born to a throne, stronger then Rome. But violent prone, poor people zone. But it’s my home, all I have known. Where I got grown, streets we would roam. But out of the darkness, I came the farthest, among the hardest survival. Learn from these streets, it can be bleak, except no defeat, surrender retreat. This verse is describing his life in the past.

So we struggling, fighting to eat and we wondering when we’ll be free, so we patiently wait, for that fateful day, it’s not far away, so for now we say…. It is saying that while they are struggling, they are not giving up hope that one day they will be free.

But look how they treat us, make us believers, we fight their battles, then they deceive us, try to control us, they couldn’t hold us, cause we just move forward like Buffalo Soldiers. This is saying that everybody else are hypocrites and are lying to them.
