Convergence will provide a single point of systems connectivity within DLA and TRANSCOM, and other systems; ensuring consistent access to common, authoritative logistics data, business standards, and information visibility. LTC Pat Flanders Item Unique Identifier (IUID) This effort involves marking every (each) item over $5,000 in unit cost that is serially managed, mission essential, or sensitive items under $5,000 with a machine readable unique item identifier (UII). This UIIs would be centrally registered and retrievable from a database and readable through automatic data capture.
