Physics at 3-20 MeV/u  should we include up to 100 MeV/u??: - Direct Nuclear Reactions, Clustering, Fusion Evaporation, Deep Inelastic, etc. The HYDE concept Status and perspectives : - Preliminary concept design. - Simulations GEANT4. - Status and funding.  E 1  E 2 E Detection techniques: -  E 1 : gas/monolithic Si-10  m. -  E 2 : DSSD 40  m. - E : Single PAD 2 mm. - Pulse shape analysis. - Time of flight. HYDE Goals: - Charged particles. - Good charge and mass identification. - Efficiency (>60%). - Good energy resolution (<300 keV). - Angular resolution (<2º). Beam: - Large emitance > 20  mmmrad. - Low intensity <10 7 pps.
