Module 4: Physical Development There are milestones in the physical development of babies and young children. These milestones should not be treated as absolute and be treated as guidelines only. Parents can stimulate their baby’s and child’s physical development in a variety of ways.

Module 4: Physical Development The awareness and monitoring of milestones can assist parents to identify possible physical disabilities at an early stage. Play is important in the baby’s and child’s large and small muscle development

Module 4: Physical Development Adequate nutrition is important for the physical development of the baby and the child Take your baby and child for growth monitoring and promotion to detect growth faltering.
