C GLOBAL ISSUES PROJECT PRESENTATIONS

Rubric Score Sheet I.Presentation is informative, organized, has all the content asked for. (20 points) II.Audio/Visuals are relevant to content, appropriate, and well prepared for time. (20 points) III.A properly formatted works cited page is provided. (10 points) IV.You show knowledge of topic, present effectively, and practice is obvious. (20 points) V.Time limit is reached. (5 points taken for every 30 seconds over or short) (5 pts++++) ******out of 75 points total

Electronic information You should save it on a thumb drive, it to yourself, or it to me. You will NOT be able to log in to your student account from this computer. If you it to me one full school day ahead of time, I will check to make sure it works on this computer and you back. You may come in before or after school to make sure it works on my computer. No mercy will be shown for technical difficulties.

Presentations Make eye contact with the class Stand up straight and fairly still to present. (no slouching) It will be obvious if you did not practice. Do NOT read your entire paper to the class You may use notecard (probably a good idea if you tend to get really nervous) If doing a PowerPoint, put in a works cited page. If not doing a PowerPoint, hand me a works cited page. If you didn’t do well on the paper because of content issues, fix it prior to the presentations or you will loose points on it also.

PowerPoints (if using) Don’t put your entire paper or even a paragraph on a slide. Use bullet points You should have a minimum of 7 slides: Title Overview Differing perspectives Educated possible solutions Barriers to those solutions Your action plan Works cited
