Academics  Penn State Class of 2014  College of Engineering  Intended Major: Mechanical Engineering  Intended Minor: Film Studies  Cumulative GPA (as of Fall 2010): 3.47

Activities  I am currently a member of Ohana, one of Penn State’s largest independent THON organizations. Participants in THON are dedicated to raising money for the Four Diamonds Fund to help child cancer patients and their families. I get involved any way I can, including going on canning trips, writing THONvelopes, and generally raising support for the battle against pediatric cancer.

Interests  Movies: I’m a huge film fan. I spend much of my free time watching movies from all genres and eras. I have dabbled in student filmmaking, and I intend to graduate from Penn State with a minor in Film Studies.  Music: I’m almost constantly listening to some type of music, whether it be classic rock, alternative, metal, electronic, pop, or hip-hop. I also enjoy playing the guitar.  Fitness: I believe it is important to keep my body healthy and fit through eating well and engaging in regular physical activity. In high school I competed at the varsity level in cross country and track and field, and I continue to run recreationally.
