2 Standards Status HLA Rules, Interface Specification, and Object Model Template (IEEE 1516, , ) Third round of comments completed Balloting delayed until March or April 2007 due to resolving technically challenging comments Ballot group established IEEE , FEDEP, revision will begin this year PAR in preparation and PDG kickoff at Spring SIW at the end of March PAR for IEEE P1516.4, “Verification, Validation, and Accreditation Overlay to the Federation Development and Execution Process Working Group” submitted Document has passed IEEE mandatory review Preparing to form ballot group DIS PDG completed draft 10 in preparation for balloting Some remaining changes and several additional drafts scheduled between now and Spring SIW Decision will be made at Spring SIW whether to close this revision and begin IEEE balloting process DIS PDG is preparing PARs for revisions to DIS , “IEEE Standard for Distributed Interactive Simulation - Communication Services and Profiles” and , “IEEE Recommended Practice for Distributed Interactive Simulation - Exercise Management and Feedback,”
