God of? – “She is goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill.” (Athena) – She’s also referred to as Athene. (Athena) – Her Roman name was Minerva. (Athena) – Her symbols include the sun, golden shield and helmet, owl (wisdom), dove (victory). (goddess symbols of Athena)

Where was she born? What is her story? – “Zeus lay with Metis, the goddess of crafty thought and wisdom, and then swallowed her whole as he feared she will give birth to a child more powerful than him because of a prophecy” (Athena) – “Athena was born from Zeus after he experienced an enormous headache and she sprang fully grown and in armor from his forehead.” (Athena) – “She was Zeus’s favorite child.” (Athena) – Her siblings include Artemis, Aphrodite, Ares, Apollo, Hermes, and many others.
