He regarded their affliction (44-48) Save us O Lord our God! ( ) These verses also found in 1 Chron. 16:35-36, quoted by David as the Ark is brought to rest in Jerusalem.

He regarded their affliction (44-48) Why did God show mercy? He is just and merciful He does and wants to forgive He keeps His promises BUT He still administers punishment!

He regarded their affliction (44-48) WE live under a new and better covenant ( Heb. 8:6, 12 ) IF God forgave under the Old Law such injustice, He will forgive us too – if we simply turn to Him in repentance!

Will you turn to God? He is Good!
