Needs Shelter Homeless Families – Massachusetts Emergency Assistance Programs offer shelter and transitional programs for families experiencing homelessness through the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA). – If you are homeless and already receiving TAFDC, please contact your case worker to determine eligibility for Emergency Assistance Family Shelter – There

Eviction Prevention If you live in Malden and you are at risk of eviction, you may be eligible for eviction prevention assistance. Inquiring households must be comprised of at least 1 parent/guardian and 1 dependent child. HFI is a family- centered agency that only serves families. There are income eligibility requirements to be considered for this program. Please call Housing Families at (781) and ask for our eviction prevention program to inquire if you are eligible for our eviction prevention services
