A brief overview of each god’s background and purpose

 King of the gods and the ruler of Mount Olympus  The god of sky and thunder  In charge of the downfall of the titans  Is usually portrayed with a thunder bolt

 God of the dead and the underworld  Brother to Zeus and Poseidon  Is portrayed with the helm of darkness  Has a 3 headed dog Cerberus who guards the gate to the underworld

 Goddess of the fertility, grain and harvest  Is the sister of Zeus  Symbolized by either a torch or ear of corn

 The god of war, murder and bloodshed  Bother of Athena and the son of Zeus  Had an affair with Aphrodite  He is symbolized by vultures, dogs, and wields a spear.
