India – Crude oil import still dominated by PG grade In million tonnes However with new complex refineries and cokers, Latam pie continue to increase

Key statistical facts India ranks 4 th largest consumer of crude oil and petroleum products in the world India is 4 th largest energy consumer in the world with oil and gas contributing 35% to overall primary energy consumption (Annual Consumption: 3.85 MBPD of Oil and 50.6 cubic meters (bcm) of LNG) India remained the second largest oil refiner in Asia with a refining capacity of 217 mmtpa (Expected: 310 MMTPA by 2017) India has proven oil reserves of 5.7 billion barrels, and gas reserves of 1.4 trillion cubic meters, yet country remains net importer of energy Oil imports constitute about 78.6% of India’s total domestic oil consumption and Gas imports constituted 25% in

Expected continuous growth in the industry The Government plans to add another 91 mn bbls by 2017 Addition to the crude oil capacity India constitutes 18% of the total population of the world consuming only 6% of the total energy Low per capita consumption Expected to add 28,000 cars/day and 21, wheelers/day Booming automobile industry 249 oil blocks awarded from 2001 to 2015, out of which only 124 blocks are explored Continuous exploration of blocks Proposed expansion of 30,000 kms is envisaged by from 15,340 kms in 2013 Increasing natural gas pipeline network India and China to account for half of Global Energy demand growth through 2040

Growth will provide investment opportunities in India Shale Underground coal gasification Opportunities for E&P Services and Equipment Companies Opportunities for Pipeline Transportatio ns Offering of Exploration blocks
